These filters are designed to comply with the strictest requirements for sterile and clean-rooms. They are installed as the final stage in ventilation systems e.g. in operating theatres as terminal filters on ceilings and/or in filter walls, in LAF and safety benches as well as in other applications that require the highest level of air purification with controlled flows.
Commonly, these applications require laminar air flows. According to the requirements, the filter is designed to achieve an efficiency of 99.999995% at an MPPS of 0.1 to 0.3 μm. Even the smallest particles and viruses will be adsorbed reliably, without needing the laminators. We have two kinds of filter media: pleated micro glassfiber or ePTFE membrane.
Thermoplastic separators ensure even distance and maximum rigidity. This ensures an absolutely laminar airflow. We can also meet other individual requests such as handling protection, endless gasket, liquid/gel sealants, etc.
In order to ensure the highest quality in accordance with EN 1822, section 4, our supplier of Hepa and Ulpa filters, Luftfilterbau, have put the most modern testrig into operation. On request, filter class EN 1822: H13 and H14 can be delivered with a detailed scan test report. The scan test documents all relevant information and contains a chart that presents the efficiency distribution across the entire filter surface. Filter class EN 1822: U15 and U16 (U17), include the scan test as standard.
The filter frames comply with the requirements for applications in sterile and clean-rooms. Choose between various models of solid, extruded and anodizedaluminum. The frames are resistant to disinfectants and decontamination agents. As standard, the filter is fitted with a powder-coated screen protection on the clean-air side.
